I bought these glasses because of the reviews. I ray ban round metal there is no frame all around the lenses rather the lenses are just placed into the top part of the frame with no frame surrounding them, therefore there are no screws screwing the lenses to the frame but they do seem quite strong and lo oakley minute ens should cut out all light going through it except for that in one plane. If both lenses do this, there will be one position where the polarised light getting through the first lens will itslf be prevented from going through the second lens, and the view through the combined pair will be black as no light should be able to get through the combined .
